First of all I hope you all are having a peaceful and joyous holiday season. I was sent a link to this story by Kent Nerburn called "The Cab Ride." Nerburn's story is a very moving account of the powerful effect of an unsolicited act of kindness .

The Cab Ride is a very touching story! It makes me want to be sure that I take the time to live my life with as much gentle caring and awareness as the cab driver did. I checked out Kent Nerburn's website and he has written lots of interesting books. Some I've heard of and others that are new to me. I haven't read any of them, but I hope I will soon! Thanks for sharing this post, Dave.
